Jaguar XJ-C restomod by Carlex Design is making us drool with envy

Clean auto plan studio Carlex Design is a specialist in turning “the norm to one of a kind.” However, its Jaguar XJ-C restomod is out and out a show-stopper. Other restomods like the trendy Opel Manta or Hyundai Pony Heritage have vintage body styles with jolted powertrains, and that is great.

In any case, other restomods like the Ferrari Testarossa by Officine Fiovaranti and the Shelby MKIII-R by Superperformance honor old fashioned dinosaur juice. Carlex Design’s Jaguar XJ-C has a place with the last option bunch, yet it’s not the normal 4.2-liter inline-six or 5.3-liter V8 motors found in the first Series 2 XJ Coupe.

No, this heavenly Jag XJ-C has a V8 engine of obscure starting points, yet Carlex Design was adequately thoughtful to specify the drive number: 400. Indeed, this Jag XJ-C restomod has returned to existence with a 400-drive V8 motor, double the snort from its old fashioned gas motors. And keeping in mind that 400 drive isn’t sufficient to undermine supercars at the following arrangement of stoplights, the Jaguar XJ-C isn’t about balls-out, straight-line speed.

The British Racing Green-enlivened paint is a given for a Jag, however Carlex Design’s XJ-C has an exceptional touch to make it stand apart from each XJ-C worked from 1975 to 1978. All XJ Coupes have a standard vinyl rooftop, and Carlex’s XJ-C doesn’t have one, yet all the same that is fine. We haven’t seen a huge load of Jag restomods, yet we have heard the plant vinyl covering of the XJ-C draws in rust to the rooftop like honey bees to honey, so we’ll manage with a sparkling green top.
